Enclosure Construction
Before asbestos removal work begins, a sealed enclosure is constructed from timber and polythene.
Smoke testing ensures 100% seal against the release of fibres into the environment. Air moving equipment is installed to maintain negative air pressure throughout the duration of the project, whislt air changes are achieved by extracting through Hepa filters.
Records of all personnel passing through the enclosure are maintained on site.
Prior to dismantling, visual inspection and air tests are carried out by an Independent Analytical Laboratory. Copies of all results are forrwarded to the client.
