Latest Removal Techniques

Latest Removal TechniquesIt is a requirement of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations that exposure to Asbestos fibres be reduced to the lowest practicable levels. With this in mind, only the latest removal techniques are used combined with many years experience and continued development:

“Controlled Wet Stripping” is the only method that meets legislative requirements. The process involves the use of specialised injection needles or low pressure sprays combining wetting agents and penetration fluids. These are inserted or applied to the Asbestos material. Once thoroughly absorbed, the Asbestos material turns into a papier-mâché type consistency. The material can then be peeled off straight into catchment trays for sealing in bags prior to disposal.

European Asbestos Services have invested heavily in the latest plant and machinery, we are extremely experienced in the techniques of wet stripping, using the patented Safestrip system, we are regularly reducing fibre levels within enclosures to the lowest practicable levels whilst using this method of control. We hold a huge stock of negative pressure units, vacuum and spray equipment, all regularly serviced and certified.
