In 2024, European Asbestos Services was appointed by Clarion Housing Group to deliver asbestos removal and compliance services across 78,630 homes within London and the Southeast. As one of the UK’s largest social landlords, Clarion requires a partner that can deliver exceptional safety, transparent reporting and consistent resident care across a wide and complex estate. The ten-year contract reflects Clarion’s confidence in our capability, culture and long-standing track record in social housing.
Our service model is built around residents. Clarion homes accommodate families, elderly residents, people with disabilities, vulnerable adults and those with varied support needs. From the moment we engage with a household, our priority is clear communication and reassurance. Operatives arrive with full identification, explain the safety measures in a way every resident can understand, and adapt their approach for individuals who may be anxious, mobility-restricted or require additional support. All works are planned to minimise disruption, keep homes accessible and ensure residents feel safe throughout the process.
A key element of this contract is Clarion’s requirement for strong quality assurance and full digital transparency. To support this, EAS manages all works through EASiHUB, our digital compliance platform, which records RAMS, photographs, air test certificates, waste notes and all site documentation and we have also implemented a direct system-to-system integration between Clarion’s asset and compliance systems and EASiHUB, allowing job orders, updates, documentation and completion data to flow automatically without manual intervention. This integrated approach eliminates duplication, improves data accuracy, accelerates decision-making and provides Clarion with a complete digital audit trail for every asbestos activity, supporting the wider digital transformation and operational efficiency goals.
Delivering asbestos removal safely across a large and varied estate requires precision and strict adherence to CAR 2012, HSG247 and HSG248 (2021). Licensed works are undertaken under controlled enclosure and negative pressure, with continuous monitoring throughout. Our operatives are all directly employed and highly trained. This ensures that safety standards remain consistently high across all sites. Our regionally deployed teams ensure consistent coverage across London, Kent, Sussex and Surrey, supporting Clarion’s operational resilience and the safety of its residents.
This contract represents a partnership driven by shared values of resident safety, regulatory compliance, digital transparency and continuous improvement. As Clarion invests in modernising its housing stock and improving the experience of its residents, European Asbestos Services remains committed to delivering a high-quality, resident-focused and fully integrated service that supports the long-term safety and wellbeing of households across London and the South East.
